These classes are a series of 3 classes which runs weekly for 3 weeks, class one basics of clay and the last 2 classes are spent on the wheel.

September 3rd, 10th and 17th, 1:30-3pm Sundays
Ceramics with Tonia
Come and choose a green ware piece, learn to clean and prep the green ware to be fired for bisque, the second class Tonia teaches different painting techniques on a bisque ware piece. Then the final class, learn about glazes and paint your original green ware, now bisque ware piece. Class includes all supplies and kiln firing.

Macramé with Carol
Starting at level one we will be making macramé leaves. After this class you can advance to level 2 where we will work up to making a macramé banner to hang on your wall.

Cauldron Painting with local artist Diana Cruz
Getting reading for the whimsical fall season we will have Diana leading us through an original piece, teaching us the techniques she uses.
Homeschoolers programs
Starting September 18th we will be running our homeschoolers programs.
we will run 2 groups.
Littles 5-9yrs
6 week series, 45 minute classes weekly.
We will be covering Elements and Principals of Arts including, line, pattern, shape/form, rhythm/movement ,color, proportion/scale, value, balance, texture & unity.

Bigs 10 & up
6 week series, 1hr 15 min classes weekly
For the older group we will be focusing on known artists such as Frida Kahla, Roy Lichtenstein and Van Gogh to name a few. Students will explore their techniques, symbolism, composition and more.

Mixed Media with Jaye
This is a 6 class series, Ages 10 and up.
Fer each class Jaye leads student through a different art media. He focuses on intricate techniques that will help any young artist advance. The classes include Pencil/graphite, pencil crayons, markers and pens, water colours, acrylics and the final class the student can choose which medium they would like to finish with.

Furniture Refinishing with Kelly
Bring your piece! Something from your home or something found at a second hand store. Kelly will be taking us through the sanding process, then the painting process and the final touches to make your personal taste of age or perfection. Learn techniques so you can have the skills to refinish any pieces you choose.
